Miami Dade College Motor Learning and Development Observation Summary

Miami Dade College Motor Learning and Development Observation Summary

Students will observe the types of general movement and fitness activities witnessed among individuals within their neighborhood while keeping social-distancing protocols. These observations should be conducting during several days hence, expanding the breadth of environmental factors (weather, time of day, weekday/weekend etc.,). Students will note socializing factors which are the ordinary (and perhaps out-of-the-ordinary)behaviors noticed among and between females and males, children and adults and the older members of their communities. They will also note similarities and differences between and among members of the community from diverse/similar cultural backgrounds.Once observations have been completed, students will prepare a written summary containing a comparison of what they witnessed to what has been described in the course text and other factors related to the cognitive, social/emotional and psychomotor domains throughout the duration of this course. The final part of this written submission must include a personal reflection of this assignment (what did you learn?).
