    The purpose of this assignment is to analyze evidence-based research pertaining to dietary supplements.

    Choose a dietary supplement commonly taken to address one of the conditions mentioned in the topic on natural supplements.
    Use the online library or other search engines to locate 2 evidence-based resources about your chosen supplement.
    Based on your selected sources, you will write a 2-3 page paper that addresses the following:
    The type and uses of the supplement. (4 points)
    The mechanism of action/effects of the supplement (4 points)
    Known food/drug interactions, precautions, and contraindications for the use of the supplement. (2 points)
    Based on your analysis of the evidence, discuss whether or not you would advocate for use of the supplement. Support your stance with specific citations from your sources as well as integration of what you have learned about dietary supplements. (8 points)
    Explain what, if any, education you would provide (within your scope of practice) to a patient who asked you about this supplement. (2 points)
