As you learn about the health care industry in the United States and progress through this course, it is important to understand the history and evolution of the industry. Complete the Health Care Timeline worksheet to create a timeline in which you describe five events in the evolution of the United States health care industry. Explain why you chose each event, as well as the causes and effects of each event, particularly as they relate to the Iron Triangle of cost, access, and quality of care. Use complete sentences. An event from 1870-1899 is given as an example. Be sure to include references showing where you obtained your facts.
